First accident : 8 sept 2002 In basel city (Switzerland) after an emergency brake the moto slide on it's side with me in the middle of a big intersection. (Nobody was behind me !!!) You can see the damage below, personnaly my right arm hurt me during 3 days. damages are limited and crash occured at max 30 km/h (I was in a full acceleration stage) and I slide during 6 meters.

  • 2012 Motorcycle Honda CBR1000RA

    The essential Superbike

The CBR1000RR is already the essential Superbike, offering a perfectly integrated combination of power, handling, and overall balance for both the street and the track. But this year we’ve taken this versatile machine and given it some major upgrades. New suspension, new bodywork, new instrumentation, new wheels—and that’s just the start.

  • Motorcycle Honda Goldwin GL1800

For more than 35 years, the Honda Gold Wing has stood alone at the forefront of the luxury touring class. One of the big reasons it stays there is because we're constantly updating and innovating, without ever losing sight of the Gold Wing's core greatness. The improvements and features we're offering on our 2012 models are a perfect example of that: The new (sleek new bodywork, our new trip planner, an even nicer seat) combine with the proven (a famously smooth six-cylinder engine and a twin-spar chassis influenced by our years of Grand Prix racing) to give you the best Gold Wing ever.

  • Motorcycle Honda Hornet CB1000RA X Extreme

Honda CB1000R, a machine that offers Superbike performance, a comfortable, do-it-all riding position, and sense of style that’s off the charts. The CB1000R is built around a superbike-strong 998cc DOHC inline-four engine that’s perfect for street riding, with plenty of torque and power on tap. Since it’s a four cylinder, it’s plenty smooth for longer rides too.

The CB1000R uses a 998cc inline-four engine based on a previous generation CBR1000RR, but is tuned to produce more torque and horsepower in the midrange and bottom end-the perfect combination for a machine like this.

  • Motorcycle Honda Hornet CB600FA

Since it first shook up the street fighter scene in 1998, the CB600F Hornet has become one of the most influential middleweight Naked motorcycles. A close blood relative of the race-winning CBR600RR, the first CB600F presented an unprecedented package of sporty performance and light, user-friendly handling.

    Note: I am a happy owner of a 2001 Hornet CB600.

The 2012 CB600F will come in three color versions, including a sophisticated new matt grey metallic and a vibrant new pearlescent blue. Each color is highlighted by its striking contrast with the solid, mechanical look of the CB600F’s Axis Grey Metallic wheels and prominent engine.

    from the 2012 swiss-moto.ch

The CB600F engine is known for its responsive delivery and powerful, torque drive. It was originally developed alongside the engine for the CBR600RR, giving it sporty acceleration and precise response. The CB600F engine is tuned for strong midrange power and torque to deliver fast acceleration out of the corners, combined with a high-revving top end that creates its exhilarating street fighter character.
Developed with the advantages of race-bred technology, the CB600F engine is designed for both versatility and reliability. Durable and requiring little maintenance, it adds to the easy ownership that is essential to the very spirit of the Hornet.
Advanced PGM-FI electronic fuel injection provides instant throttle response, precise control of the engine’s power and smooth, predictable changes in speed. Combined with Honda’s oxygen-sensing catalytic converter system it also helps to keep harmful exhaust emissions to a minimum.
Short and compact, the engine is positioned for an ideal balance of weight, which combines with the bike’s chassis characteristics to create nimble, responsive handling. The exhaust system is low-slung and positioned for a low center of gravity and maximum mass centralization.

  • Motorcycle Honda VT1300CXA

How do you classify a bike as sharp as the Honda Sabre? Pro Street dragster or boulevard bad boy—the Sabre offers a heaping dose of both. It’s a sleek, modern-day custom, that’s for sure. Taking a cue from the stripped-down styling of the Fury, it goes on to carve out its own, very unique place in the Honda Custom lineup. Just check out the crisp, clean lines, sporty, minimalist fenders, tall, 21-inch front tire, raked-out fork and low, aggressively set bars. And let’s not forget the brawny 1312cc 52º V-twin engine responsible for putting all this wickedly cool style in motion.

I am changing my Tires this week end with the new Michelin Pilot Road 3.

Michelin has introduced the newest version of “dual-compound” tires. The Pilot Road 3 incorporates a soft compound in the shoulder tread for added traction during turning. The middle of the tire has a harder compound to give added mileage.

This is which tires went through my Honda Hornet till today.
