Scenario of installation
New Joomla! install	Install Joomla_1.0.12-Stable-Full_Package.zip from www.joomla.org
You are using Joomla! 1.0.11	First upgrade to Joomla! 1.0.12 using Joomla_1.0.11_to_1.0.12-Stable-Patch_Package.zip from www.joomla.org Then apply my Joomla! core patches: JoomlaPatches1.0.12-v1.0.x for securityimages 3.0.8 only.zip or JoomlaPatches1.0.12-v1.0.0 for securityimages 4.x only.zip depending on Your SecuriyImages version
You are already using Joomla! 1.0.12	Just apply my Joomla! core patches: JoomlaPatches1.0.12-v1.0.x for securityimages 3.0.8 only.zip or JoomlaPatches1.0.12-v1.0.0 for securityimages 4.x only.zip depending on Your SecuriyImages version
You use an older version of SecuriyImages	You'll have to upgrade to either SecuriyImages 3.0.x or 4.1.x first! 4.1.x is able to protect the administrator section as well and is required by OpenComment 3.0.24
You use an older version of Joomla!	You are urge to upgrade!

The install is complex, but You have to understand that

My code is not in the Joomla! kernel core,
Joomla kernel core does not have elegant hook just in the area SecurityImages need (like event registering callback functions before/after form validation)
I have to deliver new patches for each new core version of Joomla! team.

HOW to make your own patches for securityimages

Just in case I take too much time to deliver a ready to use download, duration 5 minutes, but you need to understand basic php coding Create a temporary directory c:\patch Copy an existing patch distribution, under a new name For example, lets download Joomla_1.5.13-Stable-Full_PackageForSecurityImages5.1.x_v01.01.00.zip into c:\patch\

Hey,

Know I found the downloads.

I installed it, but there is still one problem:

I don't see an image but this message:

This image contains a scrambled text, it is using a combination of colors, font
size, background, angle in order to disallow computer to automate reading. You
will have to reproduce it to post on my homepage

I don't see the image to enter the image verefication code?

How do I fix this?

Please let me know

I have 1.0.12 installed, plus SI 4.1.2

All working fine with AkoBooks.

Today I wanted to add SI to joomla Contact Us page, so needed to add the patch.
Got a failure with this message:

File /home/httpd/vhosts/our-families.info/httpdocs/medi
a/install_45a43315b52fb/contact.xml does not exist!

What have I missed?

I tried to apply the patch for securityimages to joomla 1.0.12 and it gives a
message like "Another component is already using directory:
"/home/silicon/public_html/components/com_cont act/" ". where did i
go wrong. can someone help me on this
